Activities of the International Management Holding

The preparations for the new construction of the International Management Holding (IMH) are in full swing. For the first time, our Corporate Responsibility International, Global Sourcing and International Finance and Administration units will be working in the same building. Our responsibilities at the local and global level focus on accounting, controlling and taxes, legal and compliance as well as HR and IT, to name just a few. Another focus is on international sourcing and strategies for socially and environmentally responsible corporate management.

Our team is growing

Everything started back in 2014 with a small team in International Finance and Administration (IFA). By now, our staff has grown to over 700. The incredibly dynamic growth of our team naturally brings challenges in everyday work, but above all, it generates excitement. No day is like another. Our growth generates fresh perspectives – in Salzburg and globally.


At home on four continents

The national organisations cooperate closely across multiple time zones – from the UK to Italy and from the USA to Australia. A few colleagues have already taken advantage of the opportunity to leave Salzburg for a while and gain international experience – for three months in some cases and for up to five years in other cases, such as special management positions. There are multiple destinations because IMH is at home on four continents as part of the ALDI SOUTH Group – in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. 

Approximately one third of our employees has an international background, and many moved to Salzburg for their position. They consider the high quality of living, the many exercise and leisure options and the special atmosphere of the historic old town the perfect counterpoint for an exciting job. Newcomers have many opportunities to meet colleagues – at team events, business runs or during spontaneously arranged shared sports activities and exploring the city’s rich gastronomic offerings.
