Here is how to apply for a job opening with us

Have you found a matching job opening, but are not sure about the best way to start your application? Our applicant guide provides further orientation: Simply click through the individual steps to learn more about the HOFER application process. To make everything as simple and easy as possible for you, applications have to be submitted online. You can apply at any time from any location – even if you are interested in more than one position.

Go online

You have arrived at karriere.hofer.at. That’s the first step.

Search

The “Job search” menu item lists our current job openings. All job openings listed are fully updated – meaning we are still looking for the right candidate for each opening. You can also filter your search criteria to adjust the job listings to your personal needs. Click on a job description to see all associated details.

Find

Does a job profile fit you like Milfina butter on a fresh roll from the BACKBOX in-store bakery? Then don’t wait and click on “Apply now>>”.

Register

Have you already created an applicant profile? Then sign in with your login data. If not, create a new account by completing all mandatory fields. You can use your applicant profile to track the status of your application to always be up-to-date. Don’t worry, your data is safe and you can decide who can access it.

Upload application materials

After creating your applicant profile, you can upload your application materials such as CV, certificates and personal statement (if required for specific positions) and complete the mandatory information fields.

Save

Please click the “Save” button to save a copy of your profile prior to submitting the application. It’s never a bad idea to have a backup.

Submit application

Here is your opportunity for a final check. Verify the information one more time and then click “Apply” to submit your application.

Confirmation

You did it! Once your application has been received, you will get a confirmation e-mail and can check the status of your application in your applicant profile under “Applications”.

Our recruiting team will respond within no more than two weeks.

Once we have received your application, you will be contacted within two weeks by a member of our recruiting team. If your application matches what we're looking for, we will schedule a personal meeting.

Telephone interview
(depending on the position)

Depending on the corresponding situation and the position for which you are applying, we will call you prior to the job interview to share some important information. This call helps both sides to clarify important framework conditions in advance.

Job interview

In a next step, we will invite you to an interview to get a better idea of your expectations and to clarify important prerequisites for potential employment.

Second interview
(optional)

We can optionally schedule a second job interview to discuss open concerns and to help both sides get a better impression of one another.
